Our Story

We wanted to take a moment to share our heartfelt journey with you. As a Middle Eastern couple, we embarked on a remarkable culinary adventure right from the comfort of our small kitchen in Wichita, KS.

Living far away from our home, we often found ourselves yearning for the authentic taste of our Middle Eastern heritage. It was in those moments of longing that we found inspiration to recreate the dishes we cherished, as a way to keep the flavors of home alive in our hearts. To our delight, the results were nothing short of phenomenal!

Driven by our passion and the desire to share our culinary creations, we started spreading joy to our friends and loved ones. Through word of mouth, our homemade dishes gained recognition and admiration. This outpouring of support and encouragement fueled our ambition even further.

In 2022, we proudly established Eastern Gate, an endeavor brimming with enthusiasm and dedication. Our primary goal was to introduce the community to the wonders of Mediterranean cuisine. Through our restaurant, we sought to serve not just delectable home-cooked dishes, but also to provide a gateway to imported products that truly embody the authentic flavors of the Middle East.
